I would have preferred to give them a better review but seeing as they do t answer their phone and when they do they put you on hold and never pick up again it's difficult to provide a rating. Really wanted to take my friends there tonight but guess we're going somewhere else. Very disappointing.
Cool vibe and jumpin live music in cozy high ceiling bar area. Great beers and cocktails. Food is best in town. Dont miss the maple butter rolls!! Local ingredients via eats and drink.
The food here is always good and often better than that. But do not go there on Wednesdays. We learned through sad experience, that Wednesdays are "rib nights", which means extra crowds and lots of take out orders. We were there last night and were not served for one hour and fifteen minutes. To make matters worse there were neither updates nor apologies from the waitstaff, despite repeated requests from us. What a downer!
So so good. The saffron citrus mussels were awesome. Just enough tang and I was thankful for the bread points to sop up all the sauce! Good beers on tap and great service.
Old train station well preserved with original structures such as the ticket booth area. Live band plays in the bar area. Wood work is beautiful. Windsor Vt has a lot of history going back to the mid 1700's. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Good desserts also.
