It is a quiet well maintained campground. I have not been here to camp though

Great covered area to have get togethers. The people are staying there are nice. No clear parking area near covered picnic table area must park on the bank on the grass!
I gave it one star because zero was not an option. I grew up here, my grandparents ran it many years ago. I thought it would be fun for my mother and I to camp here 30+ years later, what a disappointment. The place looks like a rundown trailer park with campers in place of trailers, people's sites were full of junk and garbage. I get that they are seasonal (or maybe they live there permanently) but I can't believe the management doesn't ask them to clean it up. The sites available for rent are treeless and on top of each other, there was hardly enough room to have a fire in the little ring without it being to close to a tent or camper. The bathrooms were surface tidy but we almost noxious with old urine odor. There were chickens and rabbits in cages at the entrance, living in piles of their own excrement and the stench was awful. I did not even dare to try the pool. I am saddened that the place where some of my most treasured childhood memories has been rundown and trashed. I will never go back or recommend this place to anyone.
I love taking me and my family here. The kids love going swimming and love doing all the activities this place offers to kids for amusement at night
